I agree with Joey. This really isn't news its the basic principles the RNC has been preaching and is just using material and beliefs of their voters to reground their foundation. Both sides use these tactics especially in the past few years.

I can understand if the RNC would talk on what they stand for, but since Barack came into power, they have been resulting into name calling that are not really well thought out to begin with, I mean Socialist, really? One visitor from a morning new radio show said: "they are replacing the word "Nigger" with "Socialist" because they got nothing else to say with out sounding politically incorrect, no pun intended." This is one more reason I consider myself a conservative and not a republican. I see the trends i the administration, but I huess I will leave it to them to provide the *strategery* to win the votes. I don't know about calling out the RNC on name calling, since the dems have been resorting to that for years even before bush. I would say Barack is socialist with some of his policies and communist or at least some of his czars, some have even said I am a communist.
I think the real point is politics nowadays has been degraded so much so that people who would generally care about the direction of the country don't due to rhetoric and simpleminded retorts on both sides.

I haven't said otherwise at least not in this post. I realise that there are long stand institutions in this country that are socialistic and communistic.
However I would say he is more so than most before him.

Using text book definition and judging by past Presidents and/or national politicians, Barack is no more, no less a "Socialist." If it were, we would be living like Israel.
Now I can tell you Barack is a lot less of fascist then past presidents, especially when comparing to the previous one/administration.
I do agree, politics at times is rhetoric, and mostly because politicians know they can capture the ill-informed.

True. When you have lobbyist running to DC doing their sometimes dirty deeds, you can guarantee that you as a voter will be second when it comes to whom the politicians caters to.
