I want to purchase the Eibach lowering springs to put on my ION but am very much a newbie to modifications. What should I purchase with the springs to properly utilize them? Any suggestions on shocks to get so I don't destroy the ride or undercarriage? How difficult or easy is it to do it myself? This car is my daily so it would either be a weekend job or something I hand to the local Pep Boys to do. Thanks for the help.

Stock struts and shocks is all you need. Add a front strut brace, and rear swaybar.
