Brian's Build Thread.
Monday, November 02, 2009 4:52 PM

Yes I dont have a Delta but I figured I would get a build thread going here that will run parallel to the JBO one.

So far Ive upgraded the Fires alt to a 130 amp unit from an 02 Avalanche. No pics of that though.

Ordering my Z15 Thursday on payday. When it gets here Ill post up a nice How to on Box building, carpetting, making aeroports, etc.

Theres the ports. With the elbows theyre around 15 inches long. I had to do the elbows since the box wasnt deep enough.

Custom PVC flares!!!!!!!!! I need more practice making there but overall it worked pretty well

Heres basically how the front of the box is set up. And you can see my feets for anyone with a foot fetish.

It is done Im just slacking on the pics. The box looks like @!#$ right now. Hahaha.

And the sub is starting to sound better. The suspension was super stiff when it got here. I could barely move the cone.

Edit: Felt like not slacking

I know somebodies gonna jump my ass because the ports arent flush but I like the way they look like that. Thats just me.

My terminal. I wired to each VC and then to both terminals on the amp. Which put a 1 ohm load. I did this because it makes it easier to change the ohm load if I ever choose to do so.

Got bored after school and pulled the box out and painted and carpeted it. Im pretty satisfied. I need more practice with the seams on the ends.

I have some goodies coming next week sometime. Something that will help my front staging.
